My girl Sofia can hardly wait! Nor can I!
Halloween decorations
It is almost a shame that this fun celabration only lasts a day. In the olden days, (when I was young) Norwegians dressed up for “Julebukk”, knocking on doors dressed up in mammas old scarves, singing Christmas carols for treats. Well, this tradition is fading out! The all American Halloween is embraced head on.
Wicked Witch of the West feet placed in window underneath the roller blinds/skirt. The paper-bats are placed in window with bateyes of putty. 2 in one!

HAUNTED HOUSe CRAFTS
For these Halloween decorations I used foam, fabric and paper crafts, images online. The posters are big enough to make just enough impact on the interior and colorful. Excellent for DIY with kids.
Pumpkin faces
Make your own party decorations or get ideas for pumkin carving online.
It is a fun fine motor skill activity for kids to draw the faces themselves. Each pumpkin is special and full of life!
halloween countdown
The pumpkin looses a tooth for each day remaining, getting funnier and funnier lookin. Kids will love the excitement of getting closer to the big day, practising counting, and mirroring their own tooth loss!
sensory play
A magic sensory play box will make the Halloween party kids laugh and wonder.
1.Cut two holes in a cardboard box.Dress it with shiny paper, decorate with moons and stars.
2.Place objects, feet, hands in the box, a bowl of jelly with grapes, or nuddles and call it worms! Let the kids take turns guessing what it is.
Pumkin buns
We made pumkin buns with scissors and orange Wilton icing color mixed with eggs.
halloween party coasters
Laminate functional party coasters for all those bowls and drinks on the table. Glue spiderweb decor on top of silkpaper, cut around edges. Happy Halloween!
